The Centre for Energy and Mineral Processing (CEMP) is an industry funded and led research centre at the University of Alberta. The Faculty of Engineering and Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering established CEMP building on the endowment research funds donated by industry.

The CEMP is governed by the Executive Management Committee consisting of representatives of the university, industry and not-for-profit organizations in the field of energy and mineral processing.

The centre facilitates, supports and administers university research projects that are of interest to industry.
